Family Photos at the Lake | Blue Ridge, Georgia

This family was visiting Blue Ridge and wanted to take advantage of having everyone in one place to get some updated photos with mom, the grandparents, and all the kids/grandkids.

We met by the lake, and it ended up being such a fun, laid-back session. We did a few of the classic “everyone look at the camera” photos, but most of the time I just let the kids be kids! They had a blast running around, playing in the sand, getting in the water, and loving on their family.

I always love mixing those traditional family photos with the little in-between moments that actually show what this season of life feels like. The piggyback rides, sandy feet, hugs, cartwheels, and everyone laughing together usually end up being some of my favorites.
