During this family’s cabin getaway, we found a quiet woodland road just a short drive away that created a beautifully simple and timeless backdrop. Brooke and Tate arrived with the most precious blue details for their morning session. A tiny sweater, soft booties and blue flowers tucked in a vintage stroller set the sweetest tone. Fog covered the mountain overlook, so we waited together in the cool air, talking about their excitement for their baby boy who will soon be small enough to wear those tiny pieces. Bit by bit the fog lifted, revealing soft sunlight and mountains in the distance. Mornings like this remind me why I love photographing in north Georgia. The mountains always bring a little magic.
